Happy Cruiser!

Navin is one happy baby! I can't believe he's only 8 1/2 months old and already getting up on his feet. Practicing walking makes him laugh so much! This video will surely make you laugh, too!

Goodbye To Our Little Dirt Road

Our road is being paved, so of course Haridas is excited about the backhoe, grader, roller, and dumptrucks that keep going by our house! We are thankful for the paving because it will keep dust off of our roof which goes into our rain catchment, so it will keep our water cleaner and lessen the need to power wash the roof. Haridas will have fun with his scooter and bike without any rocks slowing him down now. The big catch is that we need to be more careful for fast cars now.

Earthy Rainbow Hammock

My Earthy Rainbow wrap is now the official hammock in the house. I tied it in the corner of the porch and it entertains the boys while I hang the laundry. The boys love it! It's got that cozy feeling to it! Here's some pics and videos!

Spring Harvest!

We planted a bean vine on a plumeria flower tree:

Haridas helped open the beanpods. We guessed and counted how many beans there were:



We also harvested a big box full of sweet potatoes, about 50 or so, one was 6 inches! We planted all of these plants when we first moved here, and now we are harvesting, just a few months later!

Faster They Go!

Haridas has a bike with training wheels which he absolutely loves, and Navin is crawling, which he absolutely loves. And both of them are getting faster and faster, and now Mama's all over the place keeping up with them!

He is required to wear a helmet whenever riding, but this picture is from before that rule was established, and before the fall.



Navin is already starting to try to stand up while holding onto anything and everything! I think I'm going to require him to wear a helmet as well!

Happy Easter and Spring Equinox!

I hope everyone has a nice Easter celebration! We're busy as always here, having fun all the while!

We decorated the Nature Table with an Easter Egg Tree, thanks to Grammy Sharon who sent us pretend eggs (since we do not eat eggs or support the egg industry). We have an alphabet book that has "eight enormous elephants eating Easter eggs" for the E page, so Haridas had hours of fun with his little elephant toy on the tree.





Spring is apparent here as there are many blossoms and fruits staring to grow. Here's some pics of the beautiful little mangoes and pineapples growing.

Navin On The Scene!

Navin crawled forward for the first time today! He's so happy about this after a few weeks of wanting to go forward but only going backwards. He's still slow so I have some time to clear the way for him, but soon I will be very busy keeping the floor clean and dangers out of reach! Here's some recent pics!

Navin's First Food!

Navin ate his first food today...yummy coconut spoon-meat jelly! He loved it! I didn't get pics, but here's some other recent ones of him modeling some funky pants I crocheted for him. He is also sitting up and almost crawling now (backwards only).
