Faster They Go!

Haridas has a bike with training wheels which he absolutely loves, and Navin is crawling, which he absolutely loves. And both of them are getting faster and faster, and now Mama's all over the place keeping up with them!

He is required to wear a helmet whenever riding, but this picture is from before that rule was established, and before the fall.



Navin is already starting to try to stand up while holding onto anything and everything! I think I'm going to require him to wear a helmet as well!

Happy Easter and Spring Equinox!

I hope everyone has a nice Easter celebration! We're busy as always here, having fun all the while!

We decorated the Nature Table with an Easter Egg Tree, thanks to Grammy Sharon who sent us pretend eggs (since we do not eat eggs or support the egg industry). We have an alphabet book that has "eight enormous elephants eating Easter eggs" for the E page, so Haridas had hours of fun with his little elephant toy on the tree.





Spring is apparent here as there are many blossoms and fruits staring to grow. Here's some pics of the beautiful little mangoes and pineapples growing.

Navin On The Scene!

Navin crawled forward for the first time today! He's so happy about this after a few weeks of wanting to go forward but only going backwards. He's still slow so I have some time to clear the way for him, but soon I will be very busy keeping the floor clean and dangers out of reach! Here's some recent pics!

Navin's First Food!

Navin ate his first food today...yummy coconut spoon-meat jelly! He loved it! I didn't get pics, but here's some other recent ones of him modeling some funky pants I crocheted for him. He is also sitting up and almost crawling now (backwards only).

Navin's First Tooth!

Navin's first tooth broke through yesterday. He's dealing with it quite well. He is rolling over like a pro now, and is getting ready to crawl. Babies grow up so fast!

Haridas is having fun learning and playing everday. He always manages to get a scratch or bruise on his legs everyday.

...who keep checking back and only see that boring vaccine recall post. Please know that we love you all and we have just been too busy for the blog. So much has happened, it's too much to type. Just know that we are ok. Haridas is having fun with homeschool preschool 5 days a week. Navin is rolling over, putting his vocal chords to use, drooling everywhere, and is one big baby! We are very thankful! I also want to express our sincere thanks for all of the wonderful gifts we received for Christmas. We are so lucky to have so many kind hearted people caring for us. Anyways, here's some recent pics for you patient people!

Vaccine Recall

Childhood Vaccine Recalled

ATLANTA (AP) — Merck & Co. is recalling about a million doses of a childhood vaccine, after testing showed a sterilization problem in a Pennsylvania factory.

The company is not aware of any harm to children who received the vaccine, known as Hib, which prevents meningitis and pneumonia. It is a three-dose shot recommended for all children under 5 and is usually given to infants starting at two months old.

The recall involves 10 lots of Hib vaccine and two lots of a combination vaccine for both Hib and hepatitis B, a Merck spokeswoman said.

She said the company did not find contamination in the vaccine itself, but in the plant where the vaccine is produced in West Point, Pa.

2 Months Old!

Navin is two months old now! He's 13 lbs. 8 oz. and 23 inches! He is cute and chubby and makies all those cute baby sounds as well as laughing and smiling.
